Winter nets are up and running at Lord's, mainly on Wednesday evenings from 9-10pm. These are for both current and prospective players - new players are especially welcome. You must book a place by emailing Ollie Thorne at oliverthorne@stackhouse.co.uk and places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. The charge is £10 per session.

Nets will be on Thursdays on 19 January, 23 February and 22 March, and on Wednesdays in other weeks up until outdoor nets begin at the end of April.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

We are pleased to announce that from November 2010, Turnham Green CC has merged with Polytechnic CC to play under the new name of Turnham Green & Polytechnic Cricket Club. Chairman Bernard Hughes says: 'This merger of the two oldest cricket clubs in Chiswick leaves us strongly placed to carry on our long cricketing traditions, unifying two clubs with the same ethos of playing competitive and friendly cricket to the highest standard, but with a sense of fun and community. We look forward to forging a strong, single identity over the coming months and years.'
